We've made it through another weeks folks, which means it's time for our weekly gig guide! Here's a look what's going on across the weekend: 

NoLita - YesLIta Botomless Brunch Celebrating 2 Years of Equality

One of Dublin’s newest restaurants is celebrating 2 years of Marriage Equality in Ireland by hosting a bottomless brunch this Saturday. This is very fitting, considering the restaurant was once home to one of Dublin’s much loved gay clubs, The Dragon. What better place to hold a celebration of pride, acceptance and equality! Brunch is split in two sittings, 12-.1.15 and 1.45 -3pm. Tickets are limited and cost €25 each, so act fast! More details are available here.

Docklands Summer Festival

The Docklands Festival is back this weekend with a celebration on Grand Canal Dock. It promises to be full of entertainment and competitions both on water and land! There’s everything from open air DJs, Come Try it Sessions, Wake Boarding, Demonstrations, to International Food Markets. Admission is free and it promises to be a fun weekend for all! Whelan’s - Paddy Casey

Whelan’s are hosting one of Ireland’s most popular artists, Paddy Casey on Saturday night. In the past Paddy has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with U2 on their Vertigo Tour, while also selling a week long sold out residencies in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and the RDS. He’s also featured on the international stage in recent times, having performed on the American CBS Chat Show ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’. After a five year hiatus, he’s back at Whelan’s to perform tracks from his fourth studio album. Tickets are €20.More details on how to purchase can be found here.

The Church Bar and Restaurant - Urban Beach Party

The Church Bar are hosting an after party for the Battle of the Bay on Saturday night. Of course everything is beach themed, with live acts, DJS, BBQ and plenty of tropical cocktail specials! You can win some fantastic prizes on the night by donning your  grass skirts and flower crowns! Admission is free, so be sure to check it out if you’re in mood for a Luau!

The Grand Social - The London Boys - 5th Anniversary of David Bowie’s Debut Album

Calling all Bowie Lovers! After their acclaimed debut as part of Dublin Bowie Festival, The London Boys are back in The Grand Social this Saturday night. The guys will be playing a special concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of Bowies debut album ‘ David Bowie’. It’s sure to be a great night! It’s all kicking off from 8pm. The Sugar Club - La La Land

Fancy something bit more chill on Sunday? The Sugar Club are showing the blockbuster hit La La Land. La La Land is the 2016 Academy Award winning romantic musical comedy starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. The two play a musician and an aspiring actress who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles. There will be cocktails, gourmet popcorn, pizza and a full bar menu, so you’ll have plenty of tasty treats to see you through the film!
