It's a journey - from the moment they enter your event you want them to take the journey with you - engage in the brand, wonder over the vision and share the experience.

1.Promote your space
Okay, so you’ve found your space. The first thing to do is shout about it. People don’t just want to hear about your event, they also want to hear about the location! Oftentimes, it’s one of the biggest draws for potential attendees. You need to make it hard for people to say no to you. A sure-fire way to do this is to situate your event in a place that simulates attraction and excitement. There’s not much point in hosting a glamorous gala ball in a dingy conference room! You went to the effort of finding the perfect place, so emphasise that. It’s also a good idea to promote other attractions near where the event is happening to strengthen interest and create further hype.
2.Buddy up with social influencers
One of the best ways to get your event talked about is to get involved with social influencers. These could be bloggers, snapchatters, journalists, local media personalities you name it! Generally, those who have a platform and a significant following are the best to approach. Offer them tickets to the event and allocate some that they can giveaway to their followers. Collaborating with influencers can help you reach thousands of potential customers in the future. You’d be surprised how many people will go to an event or buy a product simply because their favourite YouTuber told them to!
3.Plan your theme/layout
First impressions are so important. Remember before your event gets under way, the first thing your guests are going to be judging is the setup. It’s also a good idea to offer different types of passes to accommodate those who may not be able to attend the whole event. Think about providing discounted rates via student passes, evening passes or party passes.
